James NORDSTROM dies at 65

James E. NORDSTROM, 65, 603 South E. St., died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 1988, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kaufmann officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting Thursday noon.

NORDSTROM was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Peekskill, N.Y., the son of Elmer and Florence RICH NORDSTROM. A utility man for Michigan-Wisconsin Pipeline for 30 years, he had lived in the Fairfield community for 42 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving are three daughters, Dona Jean PEARSON of rural Libertyville, Susan SAMUELSON of rural Fairfield, Jane Ann STEPHENSON of rural DeWitt, and three grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
