HADLEY, Harold -- Harold HADLEY, 93, of rural Fairfield, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at home.

A service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Woolson Friends Church, south of Richland, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the family present from 6-7:30 p.m.

Memorials to Woolson Friends Church may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 1449 Jasmine Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. HADLEY was born March 23, 1917, on the family farm, the son of Ernest and Emma SUMMERS HADLEY. He married Wilda DEWEESE April 8, 1951, at Pleasant Grove Church, north of Fairfield.

Mr. HADLEY attended country school before graduating from Fairfield High School in 1936. He was a lifelong farmer.

Mr. HADLEY was a member of Woolson Friends Church.

Survivors include hs wife; three sons, Glen HADLEY of Fairfax, Mo., Robert HADLEY and wife Lynn of Troutville, Va., and Richard HADLEY and wife Laurie of St. Louis Park, Minn.; one daughter, Linda BOWERS and husband Robert of Minneapolis, Minn.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjorie WOLFE.
