COOPER, Olive SCOTT -- Olive SCOTT COOPER, 90, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Ariz.

A celebration of life will be from 1-4 p.m. July 24 at KD Center in Eldon. Anyone who knew Mrs. COOPER is invited to attend.

Mrs. COOPER was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Eldon, the daughter of Bert and Sydney DODDS SCOTT. She married Max Dean COOPER Feb. 10, 1951, in Fairfield.

Mrs. COOPER grew up in Eldon and graduated from Eldon High School in 1938.

Survivors include one sister, LaVelle CRAMER of Ottumwa; one brother, Conley SCOTT of Des Moines; two daughters, Deena BOONE and husband Allan of Phoenix, Ariz., and Penny CREECH and husband Delbert of Mount Pleasant; four granddaughters; one great-grandson; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchldren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one granddaughter; two brothers, Dick and Bill SCOTT; and one sister, Mildred DROZ.
