Robert Lee GERLEMAN

Robert Lee GERLEMAN, 54, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Story County Hospital in Nevada, Iowa.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. John Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A lunch will be held at Eagles Club following internment (sic).

Family visitation is from 5-8:30 p.m. today at the church, whth prayers at 6 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Eagles State Project and sent to Charity Richardson, 1795 223rd St., Libertyville 52567.

Mr. GERLEMAN was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Edwin and Darlene STEVENS GERLEMAN. He married Shiela Jean BOYD Sept. 18, 1982.

Mr. GERLEMAN worked as a mechanical contractor for LA Fulton and Sons of Des Moines for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife of Fairfield; his mother of Mount Pleasant; one son Chad HEISEL of Salt Lake City, Utah; one daughter, Charity RICHARDSON and husband Ted of Libertyville; three brothers, Jim GERLEMAN, Tom GERLEMAN and Ron GERLEMAN, all of Lockridge; four sisters, Ann JOHNSON of Nixa, Mo., Cathy KESSEL of Fairfield, Barb NEFF of Lockridge and Sandy SPEES of Fairfield; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
