MRS. KNIGHT DIES AT ROCK ISLAND; TO BE BURIED HERE

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. William KNIGHT, who passed away at her home in Rock Island yesterday. Her body will be brought here tomorrow morning of the Rock Island railroad at 10:10 for burial and services will be held at the grave only at 2oclock in the afternoon. Burial will be in the Fairfield City cemetery. Dr. Gilbert Voorhies will officiate.

Mr. KNIGHT is a former resident of this city and a brother of Mrs. Virgil HOWARD of Chicago and Mrs. Mary LEWIS of Gochen, Ind.

Transcriber note: Another contributor had previously transcribed this death notice; they attributed "Mr. KNIGHT" as being "Mrs. KNIGHT" however, which caused some confusion about the sibling relationships. The obituary as published printed the location name of "Gochen, Ind."; however, as the other contributor observed, the correct spelling of that location appears to be "Goshen, Ind.", at least in modern map listings.
