GREINER, Edith Mae -- Edith Mae GREINER, 78, of Riverside, died at 3:42 a.m. today, Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Richland United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kim Gates and the Rev. Betsey Neipert officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.
Family visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials to Hospice of Washington County may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 124, Riverside 52327.
Arrangements are in the care of Gould Funeral Home in Richland.
Mrs. GREINER was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Ollie, the daughter of Lyle Henry and Myrtle Lucille ESTES STANBROUGH. She married Donald Dean GREINER Sept. 20, 1952, in Richland. He died Jan. 1, 2002.
Mrs. GREINER grew up in the Ollie and Packwood area and attended Packwood schools. She and her husband lived in Richland for many years. Mrs. GREINER was an independent sales consultant for Stanley, Watkins, Rubbermaid and Queen Ways Clothes and worked at Universal and American Chain and Cable in Fairfield. She also managed Country Cousins Café in Lockridge. In the last few years, she volunteered at "The Voyage Home" Museum in Riverside.
Mrs. GREINER was a member of Richland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte LISK and husband Robert of Richland and Carol RIGGAN and husband Scott of Riverside; two sons, Lyle GREINER and wife Tami of Riverside and Ronald GREINER and wife Teresa of Ainsworth; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ines Marie WILSON and Betty June WHITE, both of Riverside.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Bernadine GREINER.
