TAYLOR, Victor LeRoy -- Victor LeRoy TAYLOR, 55, of rural Lockridge, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

According to Mr. TAYLOR's wishes, no service is planned. The body has been cremated.

Arrangements are in the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant.

Mr. TAYLOR was born June 19, 1954, in Iowa City, the son of Glenn Herman and Velma Lucille GERMAN TAYLOR. He married Janet RICE. He later married Melody A. SKIPTON Sept. 26, 1988, in Mount Pleasant.

Mr. TAYLOR had worked at Pulse Savage in Rome and was a mechanic.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Christopher "Nelson" TAYLOR of rural Lockridge; and two brothers, William "Crow" TAYLOR of Fairfield and Mike "Squid" TAYLOR of Rome.

He was preceded in death by his parents;
