Services Monday For Mrs. HENNING

Mrs. John L. HENNING, one of Fairfield's oldest residents, died early this morning at the Crawford Nursing home where she had been a patient for some time. She had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill since Monday.

Last rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. C. R. Douglass in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. John L. HENNING, 96, was born September 3, 1861, near Erie, Ill., the daughter of the late William L. and Elizabeth BLAINE MITCHELL. She was reared and educated in Illinois, and had made her home in Fairfield for the past 36 years.

She was united in marriage on June 12, 1889, to John Lindsey HENNING. The wedding took place near Erie, Ill. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1931.

Mrs. HENNING is survived by a daughter, Ruth E. HENNING, Virginia, Minn.; one son, John Lindsey HENNING, Wewoka, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of Elizabeth J. HENNING deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment; and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
