DAILEY, Thelma B. -- Thelma B. DAILEY, 89, died Wednesday morning, March 31, 2010, at Sigourney Care Center in Sigourney.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Harlan VanVoorst officiating. Interment will be in Packwood Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Pekin Dollars for Scholars.

Mrs. DAILEY was born June 17, 1920, in Lockridge, the daughter of Joseph and Minnie HICKENBOTTOM. She married Clyde DAILEY Aug. 8, 1940, at First Christian Church in Fairfield.

Mrs. DAILEY graduated from Fairfield High School. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Packwood Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include two daughters, Enola NEFF and husband Emory of Packwood and Rhonda BEADLE and husband Bruce of Ottumwa; one son, Ron DAILEY of Packwood; one brother, Donald HICKENBOTTOM of Fairfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Thomas; one sister, Lois HICKENBOTTOM; two brothers, Ferne and Roger HICKENBOTTOM; and one grandson.
