NEIS, James L. -- James L. NEIS, 63, of 103 B E. Monroe Ave., died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home. Cremation and burial will be at a later date. [Ed. note: Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.]

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The Lord's Cupboard, Noah's Ark or the Children's Miracle Network.

Mr. NEIS was born March 26, 1942, in Ottumwa, the son of Albert Lewis and Maxine SCHWARTZ NEIS. He married Catherine Camille MASTERSON Aug. 17, 1966, in Mount Holly, N.J.
