Earl "Casey" GOODWIN, 80, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Parkview Care Center.
The body will be cremated.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Raphael-Nakos officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Family visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Faith United Methodist Church Building Fund in Libertyville.

Mr. GOODWIN was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Fairfield, the son of Earl Orville and Flossie ADAMS GOODWIN. He married Jessie Irene KEYTE June 15, 1954, in New London. She died May 28, 1984.
He lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was a United States Navy veteran serving on the U.S.S. Chicago in the south Pacific during World War II.
Mr. GOODWIN worked as an electrician for the Louden Machinery Company for 45 years before his retirement.
He was a member of the VFW Post 2271 and attended Faith United Methodist Church.
He also umpired many softball and Little League games.
Survivors include one stepson, Donald NANCE and wife Marilyn of Libertyville; one stepdaughter, Arlene SPENCER of Cleveland, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mildred BATES SMITH, of Fairfield.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Albert GOODWIN; two sisters, Violet KASKA and Dorothy ST. CLAIR; one stepson, Francis NANCE; and one stepdaughter, Darlene ROUNTREE.
