FARRIER, Andy Steven -- Andy Steven FARRIER, 38, of Iowa City, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at home.

A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairfield, with branch President Charles Titus officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

Open visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Gould Funeral Home of Brighton.

Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous or to a charity of the donor's choice. Memorials may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at 3310 W. Jefferson Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. FARRIER was born Oct. 19, 1971, in Iowa City, the son of Harold A. and Carol Kay McDANAL FARRIER.

Mr. FARRIER attended grade schools in Mount Pleasant and Des Moines. He attended high school in Ames and graduated from Walton High School in Marietta, Ga. He received a bachelor of arts degree from University of Northern Iowa in 1995 and a master's degree in education from University of Iowa in 2000. He worked in the marketing department at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Riverside.

Mr. FARRIER was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairfield.

Survivors include his parents of Fairfield; two brothers, Matthew FARRIER of Raleigh, N.C., and Jim of Cedar Rapids; and his grandmother, Jessie McDANAL of Birmingham, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hayden McDANAL and C. Marion and Tempest HUSTON FARRIER; and one sister, Jacqueline.
