HAHN, Richard L. -- Richard L. HAHN, 66, of Morning Sun, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Morning Sun Care Center following complications from a stroke.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
A memorial has been established to Washington County Developmental Center.

Mr. HAHN was born April 11, 1943, in Fairfield, the son of Dale and Myra JONES HAHN. He married Susan WHEELER Nov. 19, 1968. They later divorced.
Mr. HAHN attended school in Brighton and Catholic school in East Pleasant Plain. He worked construction and later worked at Heatilator for more than 20 years. He later worked at IBP until his health forced his retirement.
Mr. HAHN enjoyed NASCAR racing and going to stock car races with his family. He was an Iowa Hawkeye sports fan.
Survivors include two sons, Richard L. HAHN Jr. and Martin HAHN, both of Mount Pleasant; one daughter, Lavonda "Susie" HAHN of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
