Steven F. GALLUP, 54, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

GALLUP, Steven Frederick

Steven Frederick GALLUP, 54, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lockridge Community Center in Lockridge. The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials and cards may be made to the Steven F. GALLUP family and sent to Jason GALLUP, 501 North C St., Fairfield 52556.

Arrangements are in the care of Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Online condolences may be sent via www.behnerfh.com .

Mr. GALLUP was born Nov. 8, 1955, the son of John and Rose HENSON GALLUP in Streator, Ill.

Mr. GALLUP lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was a self-employed scrap metal dealer.

Survivors include three sons, Steven GALLUP of Minnesota, Jason GALLUP of Fairfield and Nathan GALLUP of Lockridge; three daughters, Charity HARRISON of Kansas City, Melissa GALLUP of Fairfield and Nicole LEBERT of Lockridge; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, John GALLUP of Missouri and Jerry GALLUP of New London; and two sisters, Joy GALLUP and Vivion BRECKENRIDGE, both of Illinois.
