RANDELL, Dorothy -- Dorothy RANDELL, 91, of Keosauqua, died at 6:15 a.m. today, Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.
Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

RANDELL, Dorothy B. -- Dorothy B. RANDELL, 91, of Keosauqua, died at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. ellis andrews (lower case sic) officiating. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua.
Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present from 4-6 p.m.
Memorials to Keosauqua United Methodist Church, Purdom Cemetery or Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Douds may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 471, Keosauqua 52565.
Mrs. RANDELL was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Douds, the daughter of Oscar T. and Lena BOTT MORROW. She married Ray C. RANDELL May 12, 1940, in Keosauqua. He died Nov. 5, 2002.
Mrs. RANDELL grew up in Douds and graduated from Douds High School in 1936. She attended University of Iowa and Parsons College and taught at White No. 5 rural school between Douds and Birmingham. She lived most of her life in Keosauqua, where she assisted her husband in the operation of Iowa-Missouri Hybrid Corn Company.
Mrs. RANDELL was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Chapter I of PEO, Cut-up Quilt Club and Van Buren County Hospital Auxiliary. She served on the Keosauqua Library Board.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanne ERICKSON and husband Curt of Keosauqua; one son, Richard RANDELL and wife Linda of Iowa City; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dale MORROW; and two sisters, Crete WILEY and Florence JONES.
