WILCOXSON, Elsie Mae 'Sunshine' -- Elsie Mae "Sunshine" WILCOXSON, 79, of Milton, died from cancer at 12:25 a.m. today, Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Justin DeVries officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 306 North Meadow, Milton 52570.

Mrs. WILCOXSON was born Nov. 12, 1930, near Rose Hill, the daughter of Scott "Sam" and Elsie HOUSTON WILLIAMS.

Mrs. WILCOXSON lived on a farm near Albia for several years and moved to Van Buren County in 1969. In 1978, she moved to Milton.

Mrs. WILCOXSON worked in the dietary departments at Fox Valley and Van Buren Community high schools.

She was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and animals and flower gardening.

Survivors include three sons, Scott McGEE and wife Ruth of Bloomfield, Mo., Donovan McGEE and wife Arlene of Trimble, Mo., and James WALKER of Milton; two daughters, Nancy ROUSH and husband Tim and Irene WALKER, all of Milton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Ann GORDON of Milton, Helen SAMUELSON of Phoenix, Ariz., and Shirley WILLIAMS of Albia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
