RUGGLES, Lloyd Owen -- Lloyd Owen RUGGLES, 74, of Packwood, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

A private family memorial service will be conducted following cremation with burial in the Packwood Cemetery at Packwood.

Memorials may be directed to The Lord's Cupboard in Fairfield. Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Online condolences may be sent to www.raymondfuneralhomes.com.

Mr. RUGGLES was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Fairfield, the son of William Riley and Rite Marie HICKS RUGGLES. He married Colleen HUFFMAN Nov. 29, 1968, in Kahoka, Mo.

Mr. RUGGLES graduated from Packwood High School in 1953 and lived his entire life in the Packwood community.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family and children.

Mr. RUGGLES is survived by his wife; one son, Bryan Owen RUGGLES and wife Lisa of Oskaloosa; three daughters, Brenda BURDEN and husband Doug of New London, Lori GREENE and husband Michael of Bernville, Pa., Elizabeth MURRAY and husband Dustin of Kellogg; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
