CANADAY, Robert -- Robert CANADAY, 54, of Keosauqua, died at 2:33 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, in the emergency room at Jefferson County Health Center.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Batavia.

CANADAY, Robert R. -- Robert R. CANADAY, 54, of Keosauqua died at 2:33 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, in the emergency room of Jefferson County Health Center.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery west of Keosauqua.

A family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 419 S. Main St., Stockport 52651.

Mr. CANADAY was born Oct. 7, 1955, in Keosauqua, the son of Ralph and Alvastine KING CANADAY. He married Kathy BURKE, and they divorced.

Mr. CANADAY was employed at Traffix Devices Inc. in Fairfield prior to retirement due to health reasons. He assisted the manager of Country Lane Apartments in Keosauqua and enjoyed playing cards and fishing.

Survivors include three brothers, Richard KING of Keosauqua, William CANADAY of Ottumwa and Michael CANADAY of Stockport; four sisters, Nancy FRANKLIN of Selma, Judy McCARTY of Colorado, Sue FISCHER of Fairfield and Marcia KELLY of Keosauqua; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna WILCOXSON.
