WAHRER, Patricia G. -- Patricia G. WAHRER, 81, of Donnellson, died at 7:17 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Donnellson with Jim Eads officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Keokuk National Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in her memory.

Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Donnellson.

Mrs. WAHRER was born Nov. 11, 1928, in Fairfield, the daughter of Harvey and Margaret HEINE GAUMER. She married John WAHRER Nov. 11, 1950, in Fairfield.

Mrs. MAHRER (sic) worked as a librarian and as a teacher. She enjoyed birds, flowers, reading and her pets.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John WAHRER of Overland Park, Kan., and Tim WAHRER of Donnellson; one daughter, Capi BRUNER and husband Les of Norwalk; one sister, Betty LAWSON of Franklin, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
