ANDERSON, Margaret C. -- Margaret C. ANDERSON, 88, of Fairfield, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

ANDERSON, Margaret 'Peg' Corinne -- Margaret "Peg" Corinne ANDERSON, 88, of Fairfield, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2009, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain, with the Rev. Robert Striegel officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, where a wake service will begin at 7 p.m.

Memorials have been established to the Alzheimer's Association and Libertyville Playground Fund.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. ANDERSON was born March 10, 1921, in Washington County, the daughter of Henry and Grace LAMANSKY MINEART. She married George F. ANDERSON May 17, 1944, in East Pleasant Plain. He died Jan. 6, 1999.

Mrs. ANDERSON taught school in Riverside prior to marrying. She lived in Salina all her married life. After sending her last child to school, she went to work full time as a cook at Jefferson County Hospital.

Mrs. ANDERSON was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain. She was a past president of the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary and St. Joseph Altar & Rosary. She was a member of DCCW and Jefferson County Extension Council. She also had been a 4-H leader.

Mrs. ANDERSON was known for her angel food cakes and cinnamon rolls.

Survivors include 11 children, Marie KIEFER and husband Robert of Brighton, Lee ANDERSON of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Corinne REED of Bonita Springs, Fla., Paul ANDERSON and wife Barbara of Mount Pleasant, Jeanette BEASLEY and husband Carroll of Libertyville, Mary ADAM and husband Jim of Fairfield, Harold ANDERSON and wife Melody of Richland, Richard ANDERSON of Rhinelander, Wis., Robert ANDERSON and wife Janice of Wayland, Dean ANDERSON and wife Carol of Fairfield and Jeff ANDERSON and wife Lori of Fairfield; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; and two brothers, LeRoy MINEART of Brighton and David MINEART of Norwalk.
