Krueger Funeral Will Be Tuesday

BATAVIA, Ia. - Wayne KRUEGER, 61, well known resident of the Batavia community, passed away about 2:56 p.m. Saturday at his home in Batavia. Although he had been in failing health for the past few years his death was sudden and unexpected.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home in Fairfield with the Rev. Kenneth Ross of Agency in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield.

Wayne KRUEGER was born Dec. 1, 1896, at Utica, Ia., the son of the late Charles E. and Alice A. CARBAUGH KRUEGER. He was married to Pearl HAWBAKER on Oct. 15, 1915, at Fairfield.

He lived practically all of his life in Jefferson county, he was a member of the Bethlehem Christian Church near Eldon, and was a farmer most of his life.

Besides his wife he is survived by a number of nephews and nieces.
