Pearl E. Krueger dies at 88

BATAVIA - Peal E. KRUEGER, 88, Batavia, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience starting Tuesday afternoon. A memorial has been established by the family.

Mrs. KRUEGER was born Sept. 16, 1899 in Birmingham, the daughter of Isaac and Laura POOL HAWBAKER. She married Joseph Wayne KRUEGER Oct. 15, 1915 in Fairfield. He died Sept. 13, 1958. A homemaker, she lived most of her life in Batavia and was a member of the Batavia Christian Church.

Surviving are 12 nieces and nephews. Three brothers, six sisters and a half-brother preceded her in death.
