RICHARDSON, Sheryl 'Sherry' Kay -- Sheryl (Sherry) Kay RICHARDSON, 59, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away December 7, 2009 at her home. She was born January 20, 1950 in Centerville, Iowa to Dale Leon and Betty Rosaline (FLOWERS) ELARTON. She was the oldest of their three daughters. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1968. On March 20, 1969 she married Thomas (Tom) Arthur RICHARDSON in Centerville, Iowa. Sherry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, swimming, cooking, bike riding, camping at the state fair and watching wildlife in her backyard.

She is survived by her mother, Betty of Centerville, Iowa; her loving and devoted husband, Tom RICHARDSON of Fairfield, Iowa; a daughter, Carrie Ann WILSON of Coralville, Iowa; two grandchildren, Cade and Evan WILSON of Coralville, Iowa; two sisters, Nancy (Richard) GOLIK of Indianola, Iowa, Linda (Bob) STOUT of San Francisco, California; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Merle and Lucille RICHARDSON of Milton, Iowa; and several brother-in-laws (sic), sister-in-laws (sic), nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale ELARTON; and a brother-in-law, Ben RICHARDSON.

Funeral services will be at 11am on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Iowa with Pastor George Edgerly officiating. Burial will be in the Troy Cemetery in Troy, Iowa. Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 9am until the time of the service on Saturday.
