McCLEARY, Barbara Kay -- Barbara Kay McCLEARY, age 57, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2009, with her loving husband and daughters by her side.

Barbara was born December 27, 1951, in Fairfield, Iowa, a daughter of Ralph and Mary Helen (GORMAN) LEATHERS.

Barbara moved from Iowa to live at the Lake of the Ozarks in 1994, where she spent many hours enjoying the beauty of the lake. She had worked in the banking business for 37 years, first at 1st National Bank in Fairfield, Iowa, then joining Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks. She enjoyed boating, reading, traveling, especially to Las Vegas, and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was playing with her grandchildren and spending time with them.

Barbara is survived by her husband Ron of the home; by one son, Jesse FRY of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters Lindsay STEEN, and Cassie MILLER and her husband Levi, both of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her mother, Mary Helen LEATHERS of Fairfield, Iowa; one sister, Linda WAHL of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren, Dominic STEEN and Laila STEEN, and one grandchild due in April, along with several other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Ralph LEATHERS.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Family Visitation will be held in Fairfield, IA from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Behner Funeral Home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been placed under the care of Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri.
