Guy Lee HAIFLEY

Guy Lee HAIFLEY, 52, of Fairfield, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at his residence.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established in Mr. HAIFLEY's name.

Mr. HAIFLEY was born Aug. 22, 1957, in Fairfield, the son of Robert and Arlene McINTIRE HAIFLEY.

Mr. HAIFLEY was a 1976 graduate of Fairfield High School and a graduate of Indian Hills Community College. He worked as a computer program analyst for Mercy Hospital in Des Moines for 25 years. He then did private consulting work.

Survivors include his parents of Fairfield; one brother, Robert Allen HAIFLEY Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Jennifer VAN DER HART and husband Brian of Pleasant Hill and Michelle HAIFLEY of Bondurant; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
