MOYER Rites On Thursday

Mrs. Hattie Belle MOYER, lifelong resident of Jefferson county, died early this morning at the farm home of her niece, Mrs. Charles RUBEY, 11 miles northeast of Fairfield.

Mrs. MOYER was 88 years old. She had been in failing health since last September.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Monger Funeral home in charge of the Rev. S.P. Williamson. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery.

Mrs. MOYER was born May 8, 1862 in Jefferson county, the daughter of William S. and Ann DUDLEY McKEE. She was married to Marcellus "Cap" WESTENHAVER November 15, 1885. WESTENHAVER was Jefferson county sheriff and a Civil war veteran at the time of their marriage. He died November 13, 1914.

Mrs. MOYER was married to Daniel MOYER in Memphis, Mo., October 4, 1907. He preceded her in death August 19, 1936. She was a member of the Christian church.

She is survived by one brother, Charles McKEE, Stuart, Iowa. Three step-children, Ira WESTENHAVER, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Nettie HARRELD, Moline, Ill., Mrs. Ollie MACY, Fairfield; and two nieces, Mrs. Charles RUBEY and Mrs. Milo COX, Fairfield, also survive.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
