Joseph GROFF, 89, Dies in Missouri

Joseph GROFF, 89, former Fairfield resident, passed away at his home in Amsterdam, Mo. this morning at about 4:30 a.m. He had made his home in Amsterdam for the last nine years.

He is survived by three nieces, Miss Esther SNOOK and Mrs. Paul COLESON of Fairfield and Mrs. Carl McFADDEN of Washington, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Orvall KILLION of Fairfield.

The body will arrive Monday at 1:25 a.m. and will be taken to Hoskin Funeral Home. Grave services will be held in Evergreen cemetery Monday at 10:30 a.m. in charge of the Rev. W.R. Yingling.
