MOORE, Terry D. -- Terry D. MOORE, 71, of Ottumwa, formerly of Pulaski, died at 5:23 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

A gathering and memorial service will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rubio Community Center in Rubio. The body has been cremated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salvation Army, 725 W. Second St., Ottumwa 52501.

Arrangements are in the care of Reece Funeral Home.

Mr. MOORE was born Aug. 1, 1938, in Oskaloosa, the son of Lewis and Lorrayne ROWLAND MOORE.

Mr. MOORE served in the United States Air Force. He then worked for Eagle Signal Corporation and retired after 35 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Tina MOORE of Houston, Texas; one son, Michael MOORE of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; four brothers, Jim MOORE of Fulton, Ill., Chuck MOORE of Washington, Iowa, Jack MOORE of Bloomfield and Pat MOORE of Pulaski; and one sister, Jane BLAKELY of Richland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Owen MOORE.
