FILLINGER, Lucille A. -- Lucille A. FILLINGER, 91, of Lockridge, died at 2:40 a.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

FILLINGER, Lucille Anne -- Lucille Anne FILLINGER, 91, of Lockridge, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lockridge Baptist Church in Lockridge, with the Rev. Robert P. Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery.

Family visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Cards to the family and memorials to Lockridge Baptist Church may be sent to 3212 232nd Blvd., Lockridge 52635.

Mrs. FILLINGER was born March 4, 1918, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Frank and Clara Lee SPRAY. She married Gilbert J. FILLINGER Aug. 16, 1940, in Memphis, Mo. He preceded her in death April 11, 1978.

Mrs. FILLINGER lived most of her life in the Jefferson County area. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1938. She helped farm and was a homemaker for the family.

She was a member of Lockridge Baptist Church.

Mrs. FILLINGER's hobbies included embroidering and cross stitching.

Survivors include three sons, Donald James FILLINGER and wife Donna of Lockridge, Gary FILLINGER and wife Linda of Lockridge and Ronald FILLINGER and wife Karen of New London; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma SWANSON of Mount Pleasant.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Erma SPRAY; and one grandson.
