Mrs. DAHLMAN's Death

Mrs. Nancy A. DAHLMAN, wife of Jacob DAHLMAN, whose serious illness we have referred to before, died at her home in this city, on Thursday morning last, after an illness of about seven weeks. Mrs. DAHLMAN's maiden name was Nancy A. MAHL, and she was born near Eldon, Wapello county, August 31st, 1846, near which place her parents now reside. She was married to Jacob DAHLMAN, at Bloomfield, July 22nd, 1872, and since that time has been a resident of this city, where she was well known. To Mr. and Mrs. DAHLMAN seven children have been born, two dying in infancy, and five now living, the oldest nine years, of age, the youngest a babe of a few weeks. Deceased was an earnest Christian woman, and had been a consistent member of the M.E. church since she was seventeen years of age, connecting herself with that sect at her old home in Wapello county. As a wife and mother she was kind and dutiful, and was held in the high esteem of her friends here and elsewhere. The funeral occurred Friday afternoon, Rev. F.W. Evans conducting the services.
