Sat. Nov. 27, 1915MRS. ED. MANEELY DIED THIS MORNING
Mrs. Ed. MANEELY, a well known resident of Fairfield, passed away at eight o'clock this morning at her home of West Kirkwood street. Death was due to appoplexy and she had been ill only about two days.
Alma C DAVIDSON was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin DAVIDSON and was born May 18, 1875. Seven years ago she was married to Ed. MANEELY and they have made their home in this city. Besides her husband six brothers and four sisters are left to mourn her loss. They are: William, Edgar, Scott, Stoner, Guy, and Lewis DAVIDSON, Mrs. Flora HODSON, Mrs. John HISEL, Mrs. Kate SNOOK, Mrs. Josaphine DICKINSON.
The funeral will be held from the residence at two o'clock Monday afternoon, in charge of Rev. R.H. Polly of the Christian church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Note: the obituary give the birth date as May 18, 1875. The headstone uses May 19, 1875.First wife of Edward Hayes MENEELY.
Note: The 1915 obituary contains a major 'typo' in name that is important to note. The correct married surname is MENEELY, not 'MANEELY' as used in the obituary.
Also, the obituary refers to her maiden name as "DAVIDSON"; however,there are corrections to this name in entries in marriage books at the Fairfield Public Library that indicate that the correct maiden name was DAVISSON.
