NELSON, Wilhemina 'Willa' M. -- Wilhemina "Willa" M. NELSON, 79, of Fairfield, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Suzanne Swahn officiating.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Fairfield or Hospice of Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. NELSON was born Aug. 30, 1930, in Fairfield, the daughter of Kenneth and Mildred PARSONS BARNETT.

Mrs. NELSON attended Farifield community schools. She worked at Kurka Jewelry Store for several years.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra S. HAM of Fairfield and Marilyn J. SEAGO of Mingo; two sons, Michael A. NELSON of Cedar Rapids and Stephen K. NELSON of Auburn, Neb.; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia MORRISON of Port Neches, Texas; and one brother, Keith BARNETT of Dixon, Ill.
