McINTIRE, Alan C. -- Alan C. McINTIRE, 54, of Fairfield, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at New London Nursing Home in New London.

A graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. The body has been cremated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairfield Public Library. Cards and memorials may be sent to 4118 W. 13th St., Davenport 52804.

Mr. McINTIRE was born May 16, 1955, in Fairfield, the son of Wayne and Madge HARPER McINTIRE.

Mr. McINTIRE loved music, especially the Beatles and Herb Alpert.

Survivors include four siblings, Jack McINTIRE of Greensboro, N.C., Bruce McINTIRE of Davenport, Marcia CALDWELL of Brodhead, Wis., and Judy RANDOLPH of Fairfax, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry; and three sisters, Shirley, Sandra and Patricia GOEHRING.
