RIDENOUR, Constance 'Connie' -- Constance "Connie" RIDENOUR, 67, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Church United in West Liberty. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty.

Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established.

Mrs. RIDENOUR was born Dec. 2, 1941, in Fairfield, the daughter of John and Elma MILLER RUBY. She married Ronald RIDENOUR in July 1968. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. RIDENOUR attended Fairfield schools. In her early years, she had ben employed with University Hospitals in the laundry department and later operated a daycare out of her home for more than 35 years.

Mrs. RIDENOUR loved children.

Survivors include one son, Mark RIDENOUR of Iowa City; one daughter, Shawna RIDENOUR of Iowa City; one granddaughter; and two brothers, Donald RUBY and John RUBY, both of Coralville.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leland and James.
