SNYDER, Geraldine 'Jeri' -- Geraldine "Jeri" SNYDER, 82, formerly of Stockport, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at SunnyBrook Assisted Living in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stockport Christian Church, with John Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in rural Stockport.

Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 7-8:30 p.m.

Memorials to Stockport Christian Church or Spencer Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 155, Stockport 52651.

Mrs. SNYDER was born June 19, 1927, in Dermott, Ark., the daughter of John Ben and Josie Lee AKIN. She married R. Keith SNYDER Aug. 10, 1945, in Dermott, Ark. He died March 6, 2007.

Mrs. SNYDER was a homemaker. She and her husband lived in Stockport.

She was a member of Stockport Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship. She had been a member of American Legion Auxiliary Elvin E. Cecil Unit 147 of Stockport.

Survivors include one son, Raymond SNYDER and wife Ellen of Stockport; two daughters, Connie McWILLIAMS and husband Gary of Mount Pleasant and Sara KEARNEY and husband Michael of Stockport; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister, Sue TIPPS of Camden, Ark.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and one grandson.
