ARONSON, Wanda Jean -- Wanda Jean ARONSON, 82, of Bettendorf, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Bettendorf Health Care Center in Bettendorf.

A graveside service was held this morning at Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Alzheimer's Association.

Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. ARONSON was born May 18, 1927, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Burr and Nelda CALLAWAY. She married Harlan F. ARONSON June 30, 1946, in Four Corners.

Mrs. ARONSON worked in a cafeteria for the Bettendorf public school system.

She was a member of the Wagon Wheel Square Dancers and the National Square Dance Campers of America.

She and her husband enjoyed traveling in the United States and Europe.

Survivors include her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Edward.
