WALTERS, Barbara Joyce -- Barbara Joyce WALTERS, 67, of Belen, N.M., died Friday, March 17, 2000, in Belen.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Belen with the Rev. Milford Misner officiating. Direct Funeral Services of Belen are in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Mexico Heart Institute, 1001 Coal Ave. S.E., Albuquerque, N.M. 87106.

Mrs. Joyce was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Fairfield.

She was a longtime resident of Belen. She was a member of Horizon Ladies Association, Presbyterian Church and an active community member.

Survivors include two daughters, Diana FITZWATER of Warrenville, Ill., and Sherry FITZWATER of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sons, Randall and Dennis FITZWATER, both of Colorado Springs, and Kevin and Russell FITZWATER, both of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. WALTERS.
