Kenneth Raymond HAWK

Kenneth Raymond HAWK, 83, a resident of Parkview Care Center died at 3:38 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at the center.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Parkview Care Center's activity fund.

Mr. HAWK was born Sept. 8, 1916, in Jefferson County, the son of Rollie Russell and Laura RADILEY (sic - RADLEY) HAWK.

A lifetime farmer, he lived his entire life on the family farm where he was born. The farmstead has been in the HAWK family for many generations and has been designated as a Century Farm.

Mr. HAWK served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Bethesda Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Farifield High School. He has been a resident of Parkview Care Center since 1993.

Survivors include two sisters, Ethel HAWK and Viola DIEHL, both of Fairfield; and two brothers, Keith HAWK of Ottumwa and Maynard HAWK of Brighton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Willard HAWK.
