CROSS, Kevin -- Kevin CROSS, 44, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in the Jefferson County Health Center emergency room.

Arrangements are pending at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant.

CROSS, Kevin -- Kevin CROSS, 44, of Farifield, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, in the Jefferson County Health Center emergency room.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Jerry Van Hooser officiating. Interment will be in Middletown Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the memorial chapel, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Justin Cross Memorial Fund.

Mr. CROSS was born March 20, 1965, in Burlington, the son of Paul E. and Marcia A. DICKMAN CROSS.

Mr. CROSS was a 1984 graduate of Danville High School. He was employed as a production worker for various industries and had also been engaged in farming for the past several years.

Mr. CROSS enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and golfing.

Survivors include his parents of Mount Pleasant; one son, Justin Tyme CROSS of Fairfield; his wife, Theresa CARSON of Fairfield; one sister, Kathy CROSS of Winterset; one stepdaughter, Cursty CARSON of Fairfield; one stepgranddaughter; and his grandmother, Ruby CROSS of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norbert CROSS and Clarence and Helen DICKMAN.
