LYCZAK, Donna Jean -- Donna Jean LYCZAK, 57, of Dyer, Ind., died Wednesday, June 3, 2009.

A funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Dyer, Ind., with the Rev. Terry Stephens officiating. The remains have been cremated. Burial of the cremains will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, Ill.

A wake will be from 3-9 p.m. Friday at Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home in Franklin Park, Ill. Family visitation will be from 8-9 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Ms. LYCZAK was born Feb. 14, 1952, in Chicago.

Upon graduation from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Ms. LYCZAK accepted a teaching assignment in Perth, Western Australia. After her teaching contract ended, she returned to Chicago. She worked for the TM Movement in the early 1980s and lived in Fairfield during part of the '80s and '90s.

She practiced Maharishi's Transcendental Medication and group yogic flying. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and traveling, having been to Singapore, Bangkok, Tibet, India, Istanbul, Austria, Italy and France. She restarted LYCZAK family reunions and gathered genealogy information on the family back to the original immigrants. She was Catholic and attended St. Margaret Mercy Hospital Chapel while she was challenged by health.

Survivors include her husband, Lester L. NOLL; her father, Edmund LYCZAK and wife Adele; and two sisters, Carol ALEXANDER of Fairfield and Nancy KEEN.

She was preceded in death by her mother Delores LYCZAK VANN.
