CLARK, F. Elizabeth 'Betty' -- F. Elizabeth "Betty" CLARK, 92, of West Burlington, formerly of Stockport, died at 8:07 a.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Klein Care Center in Burlington.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

CLARK, Frances Elizabeth Mae 'Betty' -- Frances Elizabeth Mae "Betty" CLARK, 92, of West burlington, formerly of Stockport, died at 8:07 a.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Klein Care Center in Burlington.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Stockport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in rural Stockport.

Open visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where the family will be present from 6-7:30 p.m.

Memorials to Stockport Senior Meal Site or Spencer Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 518 Melville Ave., West Burlington 52655.

Mrs. CLARK was born June 10, 1916, in Utica, the daughter of Perry J. and Loretha STEVENS PRATT. She married Dale T. CLARK Dec. 26, 1940, in Keosauqua. He died Feb. 17, 1998.

Mrs. CLARK was valedictorian of Stockport High School's class of 1934. She graduated from Iowa Success Business College in Ottumwa. She was a farm homemaker and an office manager at J&B Plastics in Fairfield. She lived in the Stockport area until moving to West Burlington in 1999.

Mrs. CLARK was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Elvin E. Cecil Unit No. 147 of Stockport. She had been active in the Stockport Parent Teacher Association and athletic boosters. She helped establish the Stockport Senior Meal Site and was recognized by Gov. Terry Branstad with a Governor's State of Iowa Volunteer Award.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting and music events.

Survivors include two sons, Jim CLARK and wife Marcia of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Joe CLARK and wife Barbara of Schertz, Texas; two daughters, Jean CLARK and Joan CARRUTHERS and husband Bud of West Burlington; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald PRATT of Fort Madison.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Perry J. PRATT Jr.; and one sister, Gertrude LYDOLPH.
