ALLISON, Donald L. -- Donald L. ALLISON of Liberty, Mo., formerly of the Libertyville and Fairfield area passed away at his home May 11, 2009.

Burial of cremains will be June 13, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Fell Cemetery near Libertyville, Ia.

Memorials may be made to Donnie ALLISON Memorial and mailed to 603 So. 6th St., Fairfield, Ia. 52556.

Donnie was born to Deyo and Mildred BERRYMAN ALLISON on March 14, 1941. He was a professional truck driver having driven "over the road" his entire career. He made his home in Clay County, Mo. where he moved in 1965. He retired in 1997.

Survivors include a son Lel ALLISON of Liberty, Mo., his best friend Nancy L. EVANS and three aunts Edna "Sami" ALLISON (deceased May 19, 2009), Willa Mae HARRISON of Libertyville, Ia., and Mrs. Jack (Janie) ALLISON of Kearney, Mo. and several cousins and families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother and brother Garry.

Family and friends may gather for food and fellowship after the interment at the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville.
