PETTIJOHN, Barbara Ann SCHULZ -- Barbara Ann SCHULZ PETTIJOHN, 81, of El Paso, Texas, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at home.

A graveside service and interment of ashes will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Spencer Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. PETTIJOHN was born April 6, 1928, in Stockport, the daughter of John and Hazel SCHULZ. She married Bill PETTIJOHN. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. PETTIJOHN graduated from Stockport High School in 1945. She attended Ottumwa Business School. After marrying, she and her husband moved to White Sands Missile Range, where she became a member of White Sands Pioneer Group.

Survivors include her companion, Dick DOOLEY of Des Moines, and five sisters, Wanda ADAMS of Fairfield, Joan WOLFE of Danville, Melba MORROW of Memphis, Mo., Shirley CRISWELL of El Paso, Texas, and Karen EIGMEY of Toledo, Ohio.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vasti EMBREE; and two brothers, Herman and Donald SCHULZ.
