CLAWSON, Cynthia 'Cyndi' -- Cynthia "Cyndi" CLAWSON, 50, of Fairfield, formerly of Van Buren County, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

CLAWSON, Cynthia Sue 'Cyndi' -- Cynthia Sue "Cyndi" CLAWSON, 50, of Fairfield, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Linda McGaffey officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Open visitation will begin at noon Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 1-2 p.m.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 906 W. Jefferson Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. CLAWSON was born May 31, 1958, in Keosauqua. She married Ronald DeROSEAR, and they divorced. She married Tim CLAWSON Sept. 4, 1999, in Eldon.

Mrs. CLAWSON graduated from Van Buren High School in 1976. She lived in Van Buren and Jefferson counties and worked several years at Heatilator Corp. in Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Kelly BROWN of Iowa City; two grandchildren; six step-sons; 13 stepgrandchildren; her mother, Ethel BIGGS of Keosauqua; and one brother, Rex STUTZMAN of Keosauqua.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive father, Ben BIGGS and her grandparents.
