TUCKER, Willis C. -- Willis C. TUCKER, 89, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, May 19 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A graveside memorial service will be at 2 p.m. June 22 in Grant Cemtery in Rome, Iowa, with the Rev. Martin Robeck officiating. The body has been cremated.

No visitation is planned.

Memorials may be made to Fairfield Senior Citizen Center. Cards and memorials may be sent to 1001 W. Spaulding Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. TUCKER was born July 2, 1919, in Williamsfield, Ill., the son of Clarence W. and Elsie BLUST TUCKER. He married Wanda M. FREEMAN April 11, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, four sisters and one brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one infant sister.
