KEPLER, Charles L. -- Charles L. KEPLER, 77, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died Thursday, May 14, 2009.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at United Life Spiritual Center in Oklahoma City.

Memorials may be made to United Life Spiritual Center or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease research.

Arrangements are in the care of Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, Okla.

Mr. KEPLER was born March 29, 1932, in Fairfield, the son of Lucile and Leo KEPLER.

Mr. KEPLER attended Parsons College, Garrett Theological Seminary and Unity School of Christianity. He was a retired Methodist and Unity minister.

Survivors include his partner, R. Carl HICKS of the home; mother of his children, Dorothy G. KEPLER; three children, Kent and wife Linda of Oklahoma City, Kreg and wife Beth of Moore, Okla., and Karyn BURRELL and husband Brian of Vero Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandcildren; and two sisters, Evelyn FORDYCE of Mound, Minn., and Aileen EMRY of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lucille IRELAND and Carol RICHARDS.
