WRIGHT, Donald A. -- Donald A. WRIGHT, 71, of Orange, Calif., died Monday, May 4, 2009, as the result of complications from a rheumatoid lung.

No service is planned. Burial will be at a later date in Bonaparte Cemetery in Bonaparte.

Mr. WRIGHT was born March 8, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Allen and Marceline WRIGHT.

Mr. WRIGHT was raised in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Fairfield in 1953. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1955. He later received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Redlands University in Redlands, Calif. He was a logistics engineer in the defense industry for 37 years.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Carol; one daughter, Marci; one son, Tim; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom.
