KIRCHWEHM, Harry 'Tim' J. -- Harry "Tim" J. KIRCHWEHM, 91, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Wesley Halcyon House in Washington, Iowa.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
Visitation and a Masonic Service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church. Cards and memorials may be sent to 1024 South B Ave., No. 4D, Washington 52353.

Mr. KIRCHWEHM was born Nov. 3, 1917, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Harry J. and Sara BEVITT KIRCHWEHM. He married Ruth WILEY Feb. 26, 1944, in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Mr. KIRCHWEHM graduated from Springfield High School in Ohio and continued his education at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. He was executive vice president of Harper Brush Works.
Mr. KIRCHWEHM served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers during World War II.
His memberships included Phi Kappa Psi, Masonic Clinton Lodge AF & AM No. 15, Fairfield Country Club and Jefferson County Veterans' Affairs Commission. He was a past president of Kaaba Shrine Temple, Fairfield Rotary Club and Fairfield Manufacturers Association. He was a member and trustee of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
He enjoyed golfing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of Washington, Iowa, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Harry J. KIRCHWEHM III and William W. KIRCHWEHM.
