Marguerite May RANARD

Marguerite May RANARD, 102, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, IA. According to her wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A family memorial service is planned for a later date.

She was born on February 28, 1907, to William and Margarette (FRANZ) FAULKNER in Fairfield, IA. She was the eighth of fourteen children.

She was married to Walter J. RANARD, March 7, 1930. She is survived by one son, Larry (Sue) of Ottumwa, IA; three grandchildren, Monna (Marvin) OHME of Rockford, IL; Wesley (Susanne) of Newton, IA; and Marlis (Gale) GILBERT of Ankeny, IA; six great grandchildren; and one great, great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and one son, Stephen.
