STREITMATTER, Donna -- Donna STREITMATTER, 70, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home of Brighton.

STREITMATTER, Donna Rae -- Donna Rae STREITMATTER, 70, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness.

A service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Arrangements are in the care of Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Mrs. STREITMATTER was born July 28, 1938, in Joliet, Ill., the daughter of John L. and Lena SHRAIDER KIJOWSKI. She married Michael STREITMATTER in June 1961. He died in 1985.

Mrs. STREITMATTER grew up in Joliet and graduated from a Joliet high school.

Survivors include four daughters, Marla GUEVARA of Joliet, Debra McCAUGHN and husband Tom of Joliet, Elizabeth STREITMATTER of Fairfield and Tina LaCOCO and husband Robert of Fairfield; two sons, John and Mike STREITMATER, both of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathleen JOHNSON of Joliet.

In addition to her husband, her parents and four grandchildren preceded her in death.
